• In today's urban communities alot of African American boys and girls are essentially cursed. Cursed by past generations of family, which puts up a barrier for their future. Imagine a cat raised by a group of dogs, how could you reassure the cat that its actually a cat and not a dog? based on its behavior, actions, what it physically sees, and mentally digests the cat is essentially a dog, the only argument the cat has is its appearance. which is a great argument. Now, what do you tell a boy whos father, grandfather and other relatives lead the life of crime, and or didnt graduate from high school . how do you reassure him hes not a failure? how do you reassure him hes actually a scholar, a potential teacher and most importantly a leader. For to long black children have fell victim to urban community epidemics, weather its the crack epidemic, aids epidemic, or all the murders going on within these cities. they all affect the most important key to our survival and that's our future, future boys and girls. 
• Stop letting black kids believe the only way to be successful is basketball, football, or rapping. we have a good way of opting out possible career paths early. its already highlighted in mainstream media it shouldn't be in the home "they don't know, because we don't show".
• reforming our culture will be our biggest challenge, African-Americans have been striped of tradition and culture for hundreds of years now. and safe to say treated like shit. so our new generations are slightly moral less, and desensitized. 
• Install qualities like determination, responsibility, creativity etc. in black boys from day one, I feel as if kids are like new computers, if you download the wrong material it may catch a virus that virus may be temporary or it may spread throughout the system. but qualities like the ones mentioned breeds leadership, and independence which works as an antivirus to say the least.
